The Trans~Siberian Orchestra returned to Cincinnati Ohio on Thursday, March 25,2010, to a sold out Taft Theater, where they started their spring tour "Beethoven's Last Night". The light show, the performers, band, cast, crew all did an amazing and spectacular job. A somewhat scaled down show from their winter Christmas show, making this spring tour more intimate with the fans. The light show and use of video and graphics and fog were effective and delightful on the eye. With the addition of the west coast TSO members, added new surprises. At the end, Al Pitrelli, guitarist, introduced everyone. The dancers, the backup singers, the featured singers, the band and Paul O'Neil himself came out and said a few words to roaring cheers and standing ovations. With all the excitement of opening night and high energy electrifing the venue, the band played a couple of extra songs. As Al put it, "I think we have a rock concert here" and played an encore Savatage song. And as always, a portion of each ticket sold was donated to a local charity. It was truely a special night for everyone. Below are my photos I took through out the performance. Enjoy!
