Bang Your Head For Brian Benefit~Top Cats~12/1/06

The Cincinnati area death/metal music community came together to help raise money for the mounting medical bills for our brother Brian Wright/drummer of RETRIBUTION. He suffered a severe head injury the end of September 2006. The "Bang Your Head For Brian Benefit" was held on Friday, Dec.1st at Top Cats. And the only reason you weren't there was because either you're doing battle with the flu or still not of age to be in bars!!
Over 200 friends/fans/family all paid to get in to see Cincy's top metal bands put on one of the best shows I've ever seen and heard at Top Cats. Chris Lee was running sound (and should do that on a permanent basis!!) and kept the show running on time. The bands that donated their time and sweat all for a good friend was DARK SOUL, BENEATH THE SKY (Victory Records), PAIN LINK (Peace or Die Records), SILK ABRASION, WICKED INTENT and yes...the surprise of the evening was RETRIBUTION with Brian back on drums!!
WOW!! He's recovering well but slowly but surely Brian will be back 100% in no time. You can see the "official" 2nd coming of RETRIBUTION on Dec.16th at THE MADISON THEATER in Covington, Ky along with DRUGSTORE VALENTINE (headliners) and REBEL GIRL from Cleveland (all girl band guys!!). Our own rockstar KENNY OZZ of DRUGSTORE VALENTINE hosted the nite and performed a "RED HOT" with WICKED INTENT. There were raffles during the night and lots of alchol flowing. Fans showing support in attendance were members from DEAD BROKE, AZYGOUS, DETACHED, DRUGSTORE VALENTINE, LETHAL,and ASSAULT MACHINE and BIG JIM from SUDSY'S!!
