LACUNA COIL~Jagermeister Music Tour~Bogart's April 9,2007

The Jagermeister Music Tour also brought LACUNA COIL to Bogart's in Cincy, Ohio on April 9, 2007. The venue was sold out (holds somewhere about 1200 fans) and the jager and swag was in abundance. LACUNA COIL made their presence known when they hit the stage after the brutally heavy sets of DEAD BROKE (opened the show...see write up/photos below!) and SHADOWS FALL (STONE SOUR was the headliner). LACUNA COIL opened with "To The Edge" then followed by "Fragments Of Faith" and "Fragile", all from the latest cd "KARMACODE" which is on Century Media Records. Hailing from the beautiful country of Italy, LACUNA COIL are banded together by Andrea on vocals, complimented by the amazing vocals of the lovely Cristina sharing equal vocal duty, Marco on bass, guitarists Chis and Maus and Criz on drums/percussions. The blend and chemistry of these talented musicians are none like any other. Although I can understand why some would want to try to compare the vocals of Cristina and Amy Lee of Evanescene, to my ears, there is no comparing. Each have their own unique style and I find the music and lyrics from Cristina/LACUNA COIL are much more appealing. Finishing the set up with "Heavens A Lie", "Within Me", "What I See" and finally ending with "Our Truth", LACUNA COIL left the fans cheering loudly for more. You'll get to see more of LACUNA COIL this summer on tour and their next closest stop is on May 7th at Headliner's Music Hall in Louisville Kentucky where they'll be headling the show (also appearing that nite is Within Temptation, In This Moment (you must see this band's exciting live show!) and Stolen Babies).
