A Blizzard in July In Cincinnati?!!!
Okay, now that I’ve got your attention!! There was a blizzard here but it was at Annie’s on July 15th and it was The Blizzard Of Ozz. For those of you who can’t figure it out, this is one of the top tribute bands on the circuit for Ozzy Osbourne.
Performing 2 full sets of all the great Ozzy hits, complete with fog rolling on the stage and fires of hell surrounds the drum kit, the members of Blizzard Of Ozz make it very real Ozzy~like. The speaking voice and mannerism of Ozzy are portrayed exactly as well as the vocals and the look is of a more younger, healthier Ozzy (“back in his day!”). The guitarist takes on the persona of Tommy Iomni and also plays keyboards. Also along with the characters is the bassist (Rik who also is in Aerosmith tribute band “Toys In The Attic) and the drummer. I don’t want to reveal their real names as it takes away from the illusion of the Ozzy band.
All four members who perform as The Blizzard Of Ozz have been in different well known bands back in the 90’s and all are top quality musicians. They do this because they all have a love for the Ozz and a passion for the music and it’s all brought together on stage for you, the fans of Ozzy.
